FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason lacrosse team returns to the field for the first time in six days when it welcomes the Camels of Campbell to George Mason Stadium on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The Patriots are looking for their first win of the season after dropping a back-and-forth battle to Elon last Thursday. In a game that saw three lead changes and two ties, Elon scored the game-winner with just 50 seconds on the clock to take the victory back to North Carolina.

After a season-opening 18-7 win over Stetson, the Camels have dropped their last two to common opponent ECU, 20-8, and William & Mary in double overtime, 14-13.

Mason holds a 2-1 edge over Campbell all-time, winning the first two meetings in back-to-back seasons in 2014 and 2015. The Camels won the last matchup on their home turf, 14-11, in March of 2018.
