FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason track and field team are set to perform at the VMI Invitational this weekend in Lexington, Va. at the Corps Physical Training Facility. It is a two-day meet, beginning tomorrow and going through Saturday.
Mason will bring a total of 61 athletes 36 men and 25 women to the meet.

Although hosting the Father Diamond Invitational last weekend, this meet will feature a lot more Patriots and their first true test against other teams in the 2023 season.
Highlights from Last Season's Outdoor A-10 Championship
Hannah Robertson earned 1st in the women's pole vault. She won her third career A-10 pole vault title with a clearance of 3.72 meters.
Forest Flynn and
Decker Barborek went 1-2 in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.52 meters. It marked Flynn's first career A-10 title.
Cason Gardner was crowned the Atlantic 10 champion in the men's decathlon.
All of these athletes will be performing this weekend.
