Fairfax, Va. – The George Mason golf team is in seventh place after two rounds played at the 13th annual Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate. The two-day 54-hole tournament is being held in Verona, N.Y.
Host Missouri leads the 11-team tournament followed by Stetson and Delaware. The Patriots are one stroke behind sixth-place Boston College (588) and four strokes back of Towson (585) heading into the final round on Monday.

JP Miller and freshman
Aryan Vuradi led the Patriots at the Par 72, 7,246-yard Kaluhyat Course at Turning Stone Golf Resort. The teammates finished 36 holes at even-par and are tied for 12th place overall. Miller carded a two-under-par 70 in the first round, followed by a two-over-par 74 in the afternoon. Vuradi earned a 70 in the second round after shooting 74 in the first.
Junior
Colin Slater carded an even-par 72 in the first round, but a 77 in the second round dropped him to t-28.
The final round will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
