WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The George Mason track and field program wrapped up the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Sunday at Zable Stadium in Williamsburg, Va.
 
The Patriot men's track and field program finished third in the team standings with 54.33 points. Army took the team title with 81 points, followed by Albany in second (73). The men scored in nine events and crowned one IC4A champion in Jaylen Simmons. 
 
Simmons wrapped up his successful weekend with a bronze medal in the discus on Sunday (51.00m). Senior Connor Steggerda (50.46m) and sophomore Aaron Lomax (48.14m) also scored in the event as the trio combined for 11 points. 
 
Graduate student Autumn White cleared a personal-record height of 3.98 meters in the pole vault, moving her to third all-time at Mason in the event. She earned a silver medal to cap off an impressive career for the Green & Gold. 
 
Junior Cason Gardner garnered a silver medal in the men's high jump, clearing 1.95 meters. Graduate student Lindsey Schmidt added a fifth-place mark on the women's side (1.61m).
 
After advancing out of the prelims on Saturday, sophomore Timothy Allen finished sixth in the 110m hurdles finals (14.86). 
 
Sophomore Adia Palmer posted a time of 1:01.89 in the 400m hurdles to finish seventh overall. Fellow sophomore Jarett Flaker was 13th in the 400m dash, running a time of 48.58.

Up next, Mason will head to Bloomington, Ind., for the NCAA East Preliminary Championships, hosted by Indiana University, on May 25-28. Student-athletes with top-48 times or marks in the east region qualify for the preliminary round.
