FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason track and field program will host the Mason Spring Invitational on Saturday at George Mason Stadium.
Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. with the hammer throw. The running events will start at noon with the women's 4x100 relay. The final event of the day, the men's 5000m run, will take off at 9:50 p.m.
Mason will also honor its senior class with a ceremony at 5:45 p.m. For the full schedule of events, click

The field will feature 23 teams, including Atlantic 10 foes George Washington and Saint Joseph's.
Mason will also send

Last time out, the Patriots posted six top finishes at the Colonial Relays (April 1-2).
Senior
Jessica McRae was named Atlantic 10 Field Performer of the Week on Tuesday. She finished first in the hammer throw, posting a personal-record toss of 58.91 meters. The mark leads the conference and ranks 28th in the region.

Kai Muniz (5000m) and
James Seal (800m) won their individual events at the Colonial Relays while the Mason men won the sprint and distance medley relays.
In the first edition of the USTFCCCA event squad rankings, the Mason men ranked in the top-35 nationally in three events: 10,000m (13th), hammer throw (21st) and pole vault (33rd). The Patriot women checked in at 11th in the triple jump and 40th in the pole vault.
