FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's lacrosse will host #19 Richmond on Saturday as the Patriots celebrate their six seniors.
First draw between the Patriots and Spiders is set for 1 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN+, with live stats also available via gomason.com
SENIOR DAY AT GEORGE MASON STADIUM
Prior to Sunday's match, Mason will honor its six-member senior class for its outstanding contributions to the program. That group includes

Olivia Heaton,
Ioanna Mantzouratos,
Phoebe Nelson,
Olivia O'Brien, and
Fiona Rickels.

- Grad student Olivia O'Brien broke the school record for most draw controls in a season with a game-high 11 at Pitt as Mason won the draw battle, 20-15. O'Brien has 99 this season, eclipsing Hannah Warpinski's 95 draw controls set in 2017. She leads the A-10 in draw controls (99) and DC average (6.19) and ranks 25th nationally.
- Shannon Tuozzo leads the Patriots with 46 points (32/14).
- Grad student Ioanna Mantzouratos is third on Mason with 36 points (24/12), leads the Patriots with 17 caused turnovers, and is second on the team with 53 draw controls.
- Four Patriots lead the team with 21 ground balls: Olivia Heaton, Izzy Allen, Melissa Capri, and Lauren Donofrio.
The Series with Richmond
This is the 20th meeting between the two programs and 10th since the Patriots joined the Atlantic 10 Conference. Richmond has won three straight and leads the all-time series, 10-9, including a 5-4 record in conference play.

Scouting Richmond
The Richmond Spiders are ranked No. 19 in the IWLCA poll. The team's 7-1 A-10 record marred only by a 15-9 loss to UMass. Lindsey Frank was named the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. She put together a 15-point weekend after scoring four goals and adding three assists against St. Bonaventure. On Saturday against Davidson, she scored a career-high eight points thanks to a career-high six goals and two assists. The Spiders Arden Tierney is second only to Mason's O'Brien in draw controls in the conference with 92.
