Fairfax, Va. - The George Mason women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a 7-0 win against the visiting St. Bonaventure Bonnies today at the George Mason Tennis Complex.
"It was a nice way to celebrate our four seniors today with a 7-0 win against a conference opponent," said Head Coach Steve Curtis. "I was very pleased with how everyone was able to refocus and get the job done after an emotional ceremony. Hannah, Bree, Savanna and Grace have been huge contributors to our Mason family. They will be missed."
Mason got it done on the court today. The team swept the doubles matches to earn the first point of the match.
In singles action, the Patriots won four of the six singles in straight sets. The two matches at No. 4 and No. 5 positions went to the tie-breaker set.
The Patriots will wrap up the regular season against Duquesne next Sunday, April 24 at 10 a.m. at the George Mason Tennis Complex.
