FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's lacrosse will open its home portion of Atlantic 10 play against St. Bonaventure on Friday, April 1. Opening draw is set for 1 pm. The Match can be viewed on ESPN+.

The Series with St. Bonaventure 
This will be the 8th matchup between the Mason and St. Bonaventure, with the Patriots holding a 7-0 record. The last meeting was on Mar. 31, 2019, a 19-5 Patriots win. The programs met only once outside the conference (3/13/07), the inaugural meeting between the two teams. 

Last Time Out
The George Mason women's lacrosse team fell to host Davidson, 19-8, on Sunday. A top three scoring offense in the Atlantic 10 Conference, Davidson used an extended 11-1 run across halves to go up 16-5 heading into the final period. The Patriots outscored the Wildcats in the fourth but could not move closer than nine for the remainder of the match. Grad student Ioanna Mantzouratos led the Patriots with a season-high five points (3/2), including her second hat trick of the season. Phoebe Nelson and Olivia O'Brien added two goals each. Mantzouratos added a team-high five draw controls.

• Grad student Ioanna Mantzouratos earned her second hat-trick of the season at Davidson (3/27). She added two assists for a season-high five points.

• Olivia O'Brien leads the Atlantic 10 in draw controls (60) and draw control average (6.67). The grad student earned 18 draw controls at Howard, breaking the Patriots record of 13 set by Hannah Warpinski at Duquesne, April 7, 2017. The mark is among the top 25 in NCAA history. 
• Shannon Tuozzo leads the Patriots with 23 points (15/8). 
• Izzy Allen leads the team with 10 caused turnovers.
• Grad student Ioanna Mantzouratos has 25 points (16/9) and is second on the team with 27 draw controls.

Scouting St. Bonaventure
St. Bonaventure is 1-7 overall, 0-2 in conference play. The Bonnies are led by Abby Hiltz with 19 points (10/9) and Kassi Hogan with 11 goals (11/4). St. Bonaventure's Fiona McGovern won A-10 Rookie of the Week honors on March 22 after scoring a hat-trick against Detroit Mercy.
