FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's lacrosse will open its home portion of Atlantic 10 play against St. Bonaventure on Friday, April 1. Opening draw is set for 1 pm. The Match can be viewed on ESPN+.
The Series with St. Bonaventure
This will be the 8th matchup between the Mason and St. Bonaventure, with the Patriots holding a 7-0 record. The last meeting was on Mar. 31, 2019, a 19-5 Patriots win. The programs met only once outside the conference (3/13/07), the inaugural meeting between the two teams.
Last Time Out
The George Mason women's lacrosse team fell to host Davidson, 19-8, on Sunday. A top three scoring offense in the Atlantic 10 Conference, Davidson used an extended 11-1 run across halves to go up 16-5 heading into the final period. Scouting St. Bonaventure
St. Bonaventure is 1-7 overall, 0-2 in conference play. The Bonnies are led by Abby Hiltz with 19 points (10/9) and Kassi Hogan with 11 goals (11/4). St. Bonaventure's Fiona McGovern won A-10 Rookie of the Week honors on March 22 after scoring a hat-trick against Detroit Mercy.
