FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason softball team will host Siena for a three-game series Mar. 25-26 inside George Mason Softball Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday.
A LOOK AT THE PATRIOTS
Mason is coming off of a four-game skid, including a three-game series loss to Atlantic 10 foe, Saint Joseph's.
On Saturday, junior
Maddy Myers led the offensive momentum for the Patriots, hitting a two RBI double in the first game to bring in Mason's two runs of the game.
On Sunday, sophomore
Marlaina Bozek and senior
Taylor Dadig led the offensive moment for Mason. Bozek went 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI while Dadig went 1-for-3, scoring one of the Patriots two runs.

Siena end their 2021 season with an overall record of 19-15, 19-13 in the conference. The Saints, able to advance to the MAAC championship tournament, dropped their first-round games to Fairfield.
Siena is led by sophomore Isabella Pardo. Pardo currently leads the team in batting average, recording a 0.356 mark so far this season. The infielder has tallied 21 hits, one double, and two RBI's in 59 at-bats.
From the bullpen, the Saints are led by senior Ava Fitzmaurice, who has appeared in 10 games thus far in the 2022 season, recording a record of 5-3. Fitzmaurice has tallied an ERA of 2.78 after 45.1 innings pitched, giving up 51 hits, 21 runs, eight walks, eight doubles, two triples, and one home run.
Mason holds the advantage over Siena, leading the all-time series 3-0, with the last meeting between the two teams occurring in the 2018 season when the Patriots swept the Saints at home.
