CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has announced the individual weight class and team rankings for the month of February. The updated rankings have been provided by WrestleStat.
The Patriots
Alex Madrigal is ranked at the top of the 149-pound weight class for the second straight month. The grad student owns a 18-3 season record and is 5-0 in the MAC. Madrigal is ranked #21 nationally.
Redshirt senior
Kyle Davis is ranked third in the 184-pound weight class, moving up two spots from January's ranking. The Beacon, N.Y. native has won seven straight matches and is 6-1 in the MAC.
Mason is ranked ninth as a team in the 13-team conference. Central Michigan currently sits in first in the Conference (123.5 points) and is followed by second-place Lock Haven (85 points) and third-place Ohio (83 points).
The Patriots will host Cleveland State at the final match of the regular season on Sunday, Feb. 20. The Senior Day match begins at 1 p.m. and streamed on ESPN+.
