Annapolis, Md.-- The George Mason women's lacrosse team couldn't overcome a slow start against Navy today at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Navy jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Mason got on the scoreboard, and a seven-goal second stanza increased the lead to 9-3 at the half. Mason (0-2) played the Mids (2-0) even in the second-half, 5-5, dropping the match, 14-8.
