Fairfax, Va. – The George Mason golf program opens its spring championship season schedule this Sunday at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate by UNC Greensboro. Mason will face its largest field of the season battling 20 other teams.

Will Halamandaris lead the Patriots in four of the five fall tournaments. Halamandaris finished the fall season with a 71.66 stroke average ranking him atop the program's leaderboard in stroke average per season.
The Patriots had three Top 10 individual finishes this past fall. J.P. Miller finished seventh (68-74-74=216) at the River Run Collegiate.
Will Halamandaris earned a third-place finish at the VCU Shootout (9/13-14). His three-round 206 (70-69-67=206) tied him with Eric Edwards (2016-17) for second best to par in Mason history in a 54-hole tournament. Halamandaris finished 10th place overall (68-70-70) at the Phoenix Elon Invitational (10/11-12). The 5-under-par finish is 10th in lowest 54-hole tournament vs. par in the programs' history books.

Format: 18 holes on Sunday with a 7:30 a.m. ET start; 18 holes on Monday with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET. A shotgun start on Tuesday concludes the event at 8:30 a.m.
