Fairfax, Va.— George Mason Athletics and multimedia rights partner, Playfly Sports -- George Mason Sports Properties, announced today that Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) will broadcast seven Patriots men's basketball home games during the 2022-23 season.
Returning for its 17th consecutive season with the Patriots, MASN's slate of games will begin with two home non-conference games, including former CAA conference opponent Hofstra on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. and against Toledo on Dec. 3.
The Patriots will produce five Atlantic 10 conference games for broadcast on MASN and MASN2, beginning with the conference opener against the Richmond Spider on Dec. 31 at 2 p.m.
The following week, the game with Atlantic 10 newcomer Chicago Loyola will be aired on MASN2, as well as the Feb. 11 contest against Rhode Island. The final home regular season game against Fordham will be broadcast on MASN on Mar. 1.
The regional sports network will air the Mason Homecoming game against La Salle inside EagleBank Arena on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. on MASN2.
The Patriots will feature two broadcast teams on MASN with both featuring longtime Voice of the Patriots Bill Rohland. Color analyst Craig Esherick will be alongside Rohland for four games, while Washington Post columnist John Feinstein will be in the booth for three games.
Also, the Patriots will appear on the ESPN Family of Networks twice and USA Network three times during conference play. Mason will host rival George Washington on Monday, January 16 as part of a CBS Sports Network special slate of games to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Patriots' home contests and all conference games that are not aired nationally will be carried on ESPN+, the first multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer & International division in partnership with ESPN.
