BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The George Mason wrestling team picked up a Mid-American conference win, 26-9, Sunday afternoon at Bloomsburg. The Patriots improve to 7-4, while the Huskies drop to 5-4 in duals.
Mason won seven of the ten matches, including a fall and two major decisions. Grad student
Alex Madrigal earned a fall (4:16) against Cody Harrison at 149 pounds to improve to 15-4. At 165 pounds, the Patriots
Tyler Kocak earned a major decision, 10-2, over the Huskies Trenton Harder.
Kyle Davis won a major decision, 11-1, versus Buridano Stofffi at 184 pounds.
The Patriots begin a four-match home stretch on Sunday against Edinboro at 1 pm inside the RAC.
