FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University rowing head coach
Joseph Richards has announced that Sabrina Paulsen is joining his staff as an assistant coach.
Paulsen put together an outstanding rowing career as an undergraduate at Old Dominion University, where she was named Team MVP as a senior in 2017. She earned four letters while competing with the Monarchs.
"Sabrina is going to be a great addition to our program," Richards said. "I'm looking forward to her helping our student-athletes meet their goals and I'm looking forward to making the most of the unique skills and abilities she brings."
Prior to her current coaching role in Fairfax, Paulsen served as a rowing coach at Row House, helping clients achieve their cardio and fitness goals on rowing machines. She also worked as a fitness coach at F45 Training, where she taught function training in a group fitness setting.
Paulsen also worked for three years as a milieu manager at the Center for Discovery, a national leader in eating disorder treatment.
Paulsen earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Old Dominion in 2017.
