LAST TIME OUT
On Wednesday, the Patriots split a doubleheader with Morgan State in Baltimore. The Bears took the first game 4-3 while Mason finished strong with a 3-2 victory in eight innings in the nightcap.

Gordon (8-8) would tally both decisions for Mason in the circle.

SCOUTING LA SALLE (0-27, 0-20 A-10)
The Explorers have not had the 2021 season they had hoped as the squad is still seeking its first win of the season. Last weekend, the Explorers were swept by Saint Joseph's in a four-game weekend series.

La Salle is hitting just .223 as a team in 2021. The Explorers have been outscored 229-47 by their opposition in their 27 games, as opposing batters are hitting .382 against Blue & Gold pitching.

Victoria Zatko leads La Salle in home runs, RBI, total bases, slugging percentage, OPS, runs and extra base hits.

HISTORY vs. THE EXPLORERS
The Patriots and the Explorers have not played one another in over two years (748 days). The last time these two squads met, the two teams split a doubleheader on April 20, 2019.

Mason has won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two schools, outscoring the Explorers 34-19 in those contests.
