FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason Athletics hosted its annual awards celebration Tuesday evening and recognized academic, athletic, and civic achievements of its student-athletes.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing guidelines, the annual awards show was converted to a virtual format, with presentations delivered on Facebook.

Awards bestowed Tuesday night included the Aimee Willard Award, Susan Collins Leadership Award, Athletic Achievement Awards and the Dr. Pettrone Student-Athletes of the Year Award.

Seniors will receive their George Mason Award, a hand-sculpted artwork of George Mason designed as a permanent remembrance of both the institution and the student-athlete's legacy, later this summer, as announced by Director of Athletics Brad Edwards.

Below is a full list of awards presented Tuesday evening.
