Fairfax, Va. -- The The George Mason University golf team will open the Atlantic 10 Championship Friday morning at Reunion Resort in the Sunshine State.
Mason will tee off in twosomes alongside golfers from La Salle in round one on the Par 72 Nicklaus Course . The Patriots' No. 5 golfer will go off at 11:45 a.m., with the next four student-athletes teeing off in nine-minute increments.
The second round will be played on Saturday with the third and final round on Sunday. Live scoring will be available through Golfstat.com.

- Sophomore James Nieporte leads the Patriots in pars with 10.61 per round.
- Sr. Florian Blatti earned A-10 Golfer of the Week (3/24) after he finished third overall (74-72-68=214) at the Donald Ross Collegiate Classic (3/8-9). Blatti recorded a tournament-best four-under par 68 in the final round at the par 72, 6,633-yard course.
- Nikita Gubenko was named A-10 Rookie of the Week (2/25) after finishing 17th overall (220) at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor
