FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason senior diver
Marina Toone, who won two medals at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships, was named Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Women's Diver.
Toone, from Doylestown, Pa., won a gold and a silver at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships. The Diving events were held on the campus of George Mason at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
Toone took the top spot on the podium in the three-meter event with a finals score of 315.05. She took second in the one-meter event with a finals score of 274.65.
On the season, Toone won five of six events, including the A-10 Diving Championships.
On March 19-20 at the Mason Invitational against Richmond and UMBC, Toone won both the one-meter (270.45) and three-meter (268.35). She also swept both events on Feb. 20 against George Washington, Richmond and William and Mary, placing first in the one-meter (293.70) and three-meter (310.58).
