FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University rowing dual race at Bucknell scheduled for Saturday has been canceled.
 
The fluctuating weather over the past few weeks has led to water levels on the Susquehanna deemed unsafe for competition.
 
"We are certainly disappointed and were looking forward to kicking off our season Saturday," head coach Joseph Richards said. "We will just have to wait a couple more weeks and use this extra time wisely to train and prepare."
 
Mason next races at home on Sunday, March 28 vs. Loyola and Robert Morris.
