Fairfax, Va. – George Mason University golf Head Coach Greg Pieczynski has announced the signing of two student-athletes for the 2022-23 incoming class.

The high school seniors, Samir Davidov and Aryan Vuradi, are ranked in the top 5 amoung juniors golfers in Virginia. 
 
"We are thrilled to add Samir and Aryan, two of the best players in our state, to our roster," said Pieczyski. "One of our goals is to be a top choice for the best juniors in Virginia. To sign two of the top-5 from essentially our first full recruiting class is so exciting. Not only are they talented and accomplished golfers but more importantly, they both are high character individuals who also excel academically. These are types of student-athletes we want to represent Mason Golf."
 
Aryan Vuradi | Brambleton, Va. | Independence H.S.
Played high school golf for Independence High School and Rock Ridge High School… Teams earned state championship in 3a(2019) with Rock Ridge and in 5a(2021) for Independence… Plays golf for Raspberry Falls Golf Academy… Ranked No. 3 in Virginia in 2022 class and #146 nationally according to Junior Golf Scoreboard. 2021 Highlights: Finished 2nd in MAPGA Jr. Championship (69-70)… Placed 3rd in AJGA Imperial Headwear Classic (67-72-71)… Finished 10th in Virginia State Junior Stroke Play (71-73-69)… 10th place at AJGA Lanto Griffin Junior Championship (7-72-73)… 11th place finish at the AJGA Stuart Francis Championship (67-75-68).
