Fairfax, Va.— The George Mason wrestling team will host the Patriot Duals at the Recreation Athletic Complex (RAC) beginning Saturday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.
The George Mason matches will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+.

MAT FACTS
- Mason is facing Averett and Bellarmine for the first time in program history. Bucknell has won all eight meetings between the programs. The Bison won 32-12 in the last match in 2015-16 season.
- Five Mason wrestlers earned medalist honors and six others placed at the Southeast Open last weekend.
- Four Mason wrestlers will participate in the Journeyman Collegiate Classic on Sunday: Paul Pierce and Malachi DuVall will compete at 174 pounds, Nate Higley (141) pounds and Michael Rapuano (133).
BELLAMINE
- The Knights come to the Patriot Duals with a 1-1 record, edging SIUE, 19-18, and dropping a 40-3 match against Indiana at the Bellermine Tri-Meet (11/7).
- The 2021-22 season marks the second in Division I for Bellamine.
- Devan Hendricks (165) defeated Indian's Sammy Cokeley for the Knights first-ever individual win over a Big Ten opponent.
BUCKNELL
- The two teams meet for the first time since 2015-16, when Bucknell won 32-12.
- The Bison returned two-time All-American Zach Hartman, who is also the defending EIWA champion at 165 pounds.
- Head coach Dan Wirnberger is in his 17th season at the helm of the Bucknell wrestling program.
AVERETT
- Led by George Mason alum Blake Roulo, in his fourth season as head coach of the Cougars.
- A DIII program in its fifth season, the Cougars square off against a D1 opponent for the first time.
- Senior Sam Braswell, junior George Moseley and Alex Turley are 2021 NWCA All-Americans.
