FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's tennis team has announced their 2021 schedule.
 
The 17-match slate features 13 home matches and four away matches regionally within Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. 
 
The Patriots open their slate by traveling to Annapolis, Md. to compete against Navy on Saturday, February 13. Beginning on March 14, the team will play eight straight matches at home, including three Atlantic 10 contests.
 
The Green and Gold will compete in six Atlantic 10 Conference matches. Mason will host the Richmond (3/14), UMass (3/14), La Salle (3/20) and Saint Joseph's (4/17) and travel across the Potomac River to GW (4/2) and down I-95 to compete against VCU.  
 
"Our players are looking forward to their return to competition ", stated head coach Steve Curtis. "We are fortunate that tennis is considered a low risk sport and that we have so many solid teams in our region", added Curtis. "I am excited to see this team back on the court."

The eleven-match non-conference schedule includes home matches against Mary Washington, Mount St. Mary's, Monmouth, Towson, Coppin State, Longwood, Georgetown, Christopher Newport and Delaware State. The Patriots will travel for two other non A10 matches to Annapolis to play Navy and to Baltimore to battle Loyola to end the regular season.

The Atlantic 10 Championship is scheduled for April 28 through May 1 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
