FAIRFAX, Va. – Five members of the George Mason women's track and field team were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Women's Indoor Track and Field Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Freshman Vilde Våge Henriksen headlines the award winners with VaSID Track Rookie of the Year honors. Sophomores Annabelle Eastman and Grace Gaudin were named VaSID First Team All-State while senior Ashley Lewis and sophomore Hannah Robertson garnered Second Team All-State accolades.

Våge Henriksen, from Haugesund, Norway, was named VaSID Rookie of the Year after a dominating freshman campaign. The Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Rookie Performer earned a silver medal in the mile (4:55.13) and bronze medal in the 1000m (2:52.99) at the A-10 Indoor Championships. She was a three-time A-10 Rookie of the Week.

Gaudin, a native of Woodbridge, Va., won the weight throw at the A-10 Indoor Championships with a mark of 17.61m. Earlier in the indoor season, she set a personal record in the event with a mark of 19.65m at the Patriot Games (Jan. 25) – the second-farthest toss in Mason history.

Eastman, from Melbourne, Australia, recorded a pair of bronze medals in the 5000m and 3000m at the A-10 Indoor Championships. The distance runner set a career-best time in the 5000m (16:46.06) at the meet. 

Lewis, a native of Boston, Mass., earned VaSID Second Team All-State honors after winning bronze medals in the 800m and 4x400 relay at the A-10 Indoor Championships. The middle distance runner set a school record in the 600m with a time of 1:30.29 at the Patriot Games.

Robertson, from Springfield, Va., won the pole vault at the A-10 Indoor Championships with a season-best mark of 3.76m. She added a first-place mark in the event at the Father Diamond Invite (Jan. 4).
