FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason senior Ryan Donnelly has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Donnelly, a native of Raleigh, N.C., won two individual events to help the Mason men's team to a 243-47 win over American and a 207-90 victory over Old Dominion in a quad meet on Saturday at Crandall Poll in West Point, N.Y.   

Donnelly, who is tied for first on the team with six first-place finishes this season, took the top spot on the podium in both the 100-yard backstroke (50.54) and 200-yard backstroke (1:49.97).  He was also a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:22.47) and placed 10th in the 100-yard butterfly (51.40).

The Patriots are back in action when they compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 19-22 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
