FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University men's and women's tennis teams have announced their tournament schedules for the 2019 fall season.
 
The men will compete in a trio of local tournaments and also send student-athletes to a pair of ITA events. The women will host a fall tournament, travel to three away events and compete in the ITA Regional.
 
The women open their fall slate by hosting the Mason Mock Dual Invitational Sept. 7-8 on campus. The event will include Delaware State and Christopher Newport. From there, the Patriots will compete against Johns Hopkins and Mary Washington at the Eagles' Fall Kickoff Classic Sept. 14-15 in Fredericksburg.
 
The Green & Gold then travel north to Baltimore for the Loyola Fed Cup, where Mason will suit up against the host Greyhounds, as well as Lafayette and Mt. St. Mary's Sept. 27-29. After heading to Annapolis for the Navy Blue & Gold on Oct. 4-6, the Patriots wrap up the fall slate at the ITA Regional Oct. 25-29 in Blacksburg.
 
The men open their season Sept. 27-29 at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis. From there, the Patriots will look to send student-athletes to the prestigious ITA All-America Championship for the first time in program history. A number of Patriots have a strong chance to qualify for the event, which will take place Oct. 5-11 in Tulsa, Okla.
 
Mason will then travel south on I-95 for the Richmond Spider Invitational Oct. 11-13 in greater RVA. After the annual ITA Regional Oct. 17-22 in Charlottesville, the Patriots will wrap up their fall season Nov. 8-10 at the Navy Invitational.
 
Both programs also will host their annual alumni weekend Nov. 2-3. The team's alumni event will be held Nov. 2, with the Green & Gold match scheduled for Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.
 
The teams' 2019 spring dual schedules will be announced this fall.
