A-10 Release

FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's golf junior Jeff Wilson has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
 
Wilson garners the award for the first time in his career. In addition to his solid season on the course, Wilson earned the honor on the strength of a perfect 4.0 GPA. He is majoring in business management.
 
As a junior, Wilson ranked second on the Patriots in scoring average (74.23), par-3 scoring (2.95) and birdies (80).
 
He tallied a trio of top-25 finishes on the year, including a season-best t-9^th at the Old Dominion/OBX Intercollegiate.

The Austin, Texas, product also placed t-15^th at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate and was t-24^th at the Ocean Course Invitation at Kiawah.
