The junior pitcher provided eight complete games, highlighted by her first career no-hitter in a 1-0 Patriots' win over Lafayette (Mar. 9). She tossed a one-hitter, complete-game shutout in route to a 3-0 win at Saint Joseph's (Apr. 13), notching a team-high two shutouts.
The Woodstock, Va., finished the season with an 8-11 record. She was first on the team and third in the Atlantic 10 in ERA (2.42), the lowest of her three years with the Patriots. Her 100 strikeouts were second on the team and fifth in the conference. She earned A-10 Pitcher of the Week twice this season.
In Mason's 6-1 win over Cornell (Mar. 15), Ansbro struck out a career-high 13 batters.
This marks the first NFCA honor of Ansbro's career.
