FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team's series opener against George Washington, scheduled for 3 p.m. this afternoon at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game is now scheduled to be played as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 6, with game one scheduled to begin at noon.
Saturday is the game of the week. Mason students with valid ID receive a free Washington Nationals ticket (for April 29th game), while supplies last.
The Patriots and Colonials are still scheduled to play a single game on Sunday, April 7, with the first pitch slated for 1 p.m.
Sunday is Kids Day at Spuhler Field. Youth 12-and-under receive a free ticket when ordered in advance and will have a chance to run the bases following the game. Orders must be received Friday by 5 p.m.
