FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team continues its season-high six-game homestand, hosting William & Mary on Tuesday and Navy on Wednesday, with both games scheduled for 3 p.m. at Spuhler Field.
Mason (15-23, 2-10 A-10) dropped two-of-three games in its Atlantic 10 series against Dayton over the weekend at Sphuler Field.
The Patriots and Flyers split a doubleheader on Saturday, with Dayton claiming a 6-4 win in game one and Mason earning a 2-0 victory in the nightcap. The Flyers won the series with a 13-3 victory on Sunday.
Mason junior starter
Jared DiCesare was named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday. He struck out a season-high nine batters over a season-best eight innings and allowed just three hits in Mason's 2-0 victory over the Flyers on Saturday.
Mason junior catcher
Logan Driscoll leads the team in average (.346), hits (44), home runs (8), doubles (9), RBI (27), stolen bases (6) and runs scored (30) in 35 games played. He is second on the team in walks (26).
Senior outfielder
Brady Acker is second on the club in average (.308), tied for second in doubles (8) and is third in walks (25) in 24 games played.
Sophomore outfielder
Cam Reckling is third on the squad in average (287) and is second on the team in hits (41) and runs scored (28) in 36 games played. He is tied for second of the club in doubles (8) and is fifth in RBI (16).
Junior catcher
Bailey Klein is fourth on the team in average (.263) and is tied for second in home runs (3) and RBI (22) in 35 games played. He is third on the team in hits (35).

Mason faced both William & Mary and Navy during the 2017 season.
Mason fell to William & Mary, 4-2, on April 26, 2017 at Spuhler Field. The Patriots rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game, but allowed single runs in the eighth and ninth innings. Mason had 13 hits in the game, all singles.
Mason fell to Navy, 11-2, on April 19, 2017 at Max Bishop Stadium in Annapolis, Md. The Midshipmen scored the first 11 runs of the game, while the Patriots scored two runs in the ninth. The Patriots had nine hits in the game, eight singles and a double. It was the first meeting between the two teams since April 11, 2012.
SCOUTING REPORT

Elon took all three games of the series against William & Mary over the weekend at Plumeri Park in Williamsburg, Va. The Phoenix won both games of a doubleheader, 11-9 and 8-2, on Saturday and completed the sweep with an 11-2 win on Sunday afternoon.
The Tribe is set to play their next two games against Atlantic 10 teams, with games at Mason on Tuesday and Richmond on Wednesday. William & Mary has a 2-1 record against A-10 teams this season, with a win over VCU and a 1-1 record against George Washington.
Senior infielder Zach Pearson leads the team in average (.319) and doubles (12) in 36 games played. He is second on the club in hits (44) and third in RBI (24). He ranks seventh in the CAA in average.
