FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team is back on the road to take on Georgetown in a midweek, non-conference game on Wednesday with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. at Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda, Md.
Mason (11-15, 0-6 A-10) dropped three games at Richmond in Atlantic 10 play last weekend.
Junior catcher
Logan Driscoll leads the team in average (.337/31-for-92), hits (31), home runs (7), RBI and stolen bases (6).
Redshirt senior outfielder
Brady Acker is batting .314 (11-for-35) with one home run and five RBI in 12 games played.
Sophomore outfielder
Cam Reckling is hitting .306 (29-for-95) and is second on the team in hits (29). He leads the Patriots in doubles (7) and runs scored (23).
Senior first baseman
Tim Quinn has a .292 average (26-for-89) and is third on the team in hits (26). He is second on the club in home runs (3) and RBI (17).
Senior infielder
Alejandro Aponte is batting .261 (23-for-88) and is tied for fourth on the team in hits (23), while junior catcher

Mason scored the first three runs of the game and defeated Georgetown, 7-4, on March 19 at Sphuler Field in the first meeting between the two teams. Mason freshman starter

SCOUTING REPORT

The Hoyas went 1-2 last weekend at East Tennessee State University. Georgetown dropped the first two games of the series, 4-0 and 11-1, before picking up a 5-3 win in the final game of the series to snap a seven-game losing streak.
Georgetown sophomore infielder Eddie McCabe leads the Hoyas in average (.330/34-for-103) and hits (34) and is tied for the team lead in RBI (16). He is second on the team in runs scored (16).
Hoyas freshman outfielder Michael Willis is second on the club in average (.303/23-for-76) and RBI (13).
