FAIRFAX, Va. – Freshman
Hannah Robertson, of the George Mason women's track and field team, earns Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor.
The freshman cleared 3.93-meters in the pole vault this weekend at the Mason Spring Invitational, placing first in the event. This feat is a personal record for Robertson, one that earned her the top spot in the A-10 and fifth all-time at Mason.
This honor follows many accolades Robertson won during her indoor season just months prior. The freshman vaulter won silver in the pole vault at the A-10 Indoor Conference Championships last February, along with earning A-10 All-Rookie accolades and being recognized as the A-10's most outstanding rookie for the indoor season.
Robertson and the rest of the Patriots hit the road and travel south to Durham, N.C. to participate in the Duke Invitational next week. The meet begins Friday, April 19 and goes through Saturday.
