PHILADELPHIA – Freshman
Hannah Harrod continued her strong play during the back half of the season to lead the George Mason University women's tennis team Saturday afternoon during the Patriots' 4-1 setback to Duquesne.
Harrod won her singles match at No. 4 in straight sets (6-4, 6-0) to grab a point for the Green & Gold. She also partnered with fellow freshman

Elsewhere, sophomore
Hannah Yang was narrowly edged in the first set at No. 3 (5-7), but was leading in the second frame (3-2) before play was called.
At No. 6, sophomore
Christine McCarthy also narrowly fell in her first set (5-7), and trailed by just one (1-2) when the match ended.
The Patriots wrap up their Philadelphia swing with a match vs. host Saint Joseph's on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
