LAST TIME OUT
Mason dropped two-of-three in an away series at Rhode Island. After suffering a 3-2 loss in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, redshirt sophomore
Adriana Erickson hit the game-winning home run in game two for the extra-inning 2-1 victory.
A pitching duel decided the rubber match in Sunday's series finale. Both pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and only seven hits.
Marina Vitalich allowed only three hits while striking out six batters. However, a solo blast by Rhode Island in the sixth inning proved to be the game-winning, lone run of the game.
