FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason wrestling concludes the home portion of its schedule, hosting Maryland on Senior Day on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the Recreation Athletic Complex in Fairfax, Va.
Senior captains
Tejon Anthony and
Matthew Voss will be honored prior to the match.
Last time out, Mason (8-6, 3-3 EWL) fell to American, 29-15, on Friday at Bender Arena in Washington, D.C.

Eli Spencer (197 lbs.) recorded wins against the Eagles.
Voss (27-4, 12-1) leads the team in overall wins and dual victories. He enters the match against Maryland one win away from 100 in his Mason career.
Voss is ranked No. 18 at heavyweight in the latest NCAA Division I Coaches' Rankings. He is also ranked No. 15 by Win Magazine, No. 12 by both FloWrestling and TheOpenMat and No. 15 by Intermat.
Anthony (26-8, 11-3), who is ranked No. 32 at 149 pounds in the second Division I Coaches' Rankings, is second on the team in wins.
DiBlasi (25-9, 9-2) is ranked No. 26 at 165 pounds and Spencer (22-11, 4-5) is ranked No. 33 at 197 pounds in the latest Division I Coaches' Rankings.
The final Coaches' Panel Rankings will be part of the selection process to determine the qualifiers for the 2019 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships to be held March 21-23 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mason finished the regular season with three victories against Eastern Wrestling League opponents, equaling the most wins against conference foes since joining the league in 2013-14.
The Patriots will host the 2019 EWL Championships on March 9 at EagleBank Arena.
This season, the Patriots have recorded wins over VMI (20-17), Bloomsburg (24-11), Gardner-Webb (30-13), Davidson (34-6), Cleveland State (26-9), The Citadel (31-18), Edinboro (20-19) and Franklin & Marshall (36-10).
The Mason wrestling team will hold an autograph session after the match, signing George Mason Wrestling posters.

SCOUTING MARYLAND
Maryland has an overall record of 0-11, including a mark of 0-6 against Big Ten opponents. The Terrapins have a record of 0-6 at home and 0-5 on the road.
Last time out, Maryland fell to No. 4 Michigan, 34-4, on Friday at the Xfinity Center in College Park. The Wolverines won nine of 10 bouts, with Maryland junior Josh Ugalde recording a 12-2 major decision at 174 pounds.
Six of the Terrapins losses have been to teams ranked in the top 25. Maryland has dropped duals to No. 3 Iowa (Feb. 8), No. 4 Michigan (Feb. 15), No. 7 Minnesota (Feb. 10), No. 12 Nebraska (Jan. 18), No. 16 Wisconsin (Feb. 2) and No. 23 Purdue (Jan. 11).
