Jacquee Clabeaux has been named Atlantic 10 Women's Performer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Clabeaux, from Fairfax, Va., made the podium six times during the three-day Patriot Invitational. She won two individual events and finished in the top-three as part of four Mason relay teams.Â
On the first day of competition, Clabeaux took the top spot on the podium in the 200-yard IM by nearly two seconds with a time of 2:00.69. She was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished second (3:45.10) and the 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed third (1:34.07).
On day two, Clabeaux swam the first leg of the winning 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a new meet record with a time of 7:29.74.
Clabeaux wrapped up a memorable meet on the final day, claiming the Patriot Invitational championship in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:13.56. She was also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that placed third (3:25.82).
The Patriots host UMBC on Saturday, January 18 with the meet scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Jim McKay Natatorium in Fairfax.
