Patriots to Play a Pair of Fall Games at George Mason Softball Complex

FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team will be in action for a pair of fall home games at George Mason Softball Complex this weekend.

The Patriots will play host to Georgetown on Friday, Oct. 4, with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. and Towson on Sunday, Oct. 6, with that first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

The women will also travel to Maryland on Oct. 11 to play in their final game of the fall. First pitch for that game is set for 5 p.m.

Mason finished with an overall record of 22-26, along with a 10-12 record in Atlantic 10 play, in 2019. The Patriots tallied a 15-14 record at home and a 4-8 record on the road (3-4 record at neutral sites).

Three softball student-athletes earned Atlantic 10 Second Team All-Conference honors at the conclusion of last season. First baseman Adriana Erickson and pitcher Marina Vitalich were named Second Team All-Conference in each of their respective positions. The three selections tied for the most A-10 postseason awards earned by the Patriots since its first year in the league, 2013.
