Mason freshman Paige La and junior Hannah Yang wrapped up their fall seasons at Regionals ITAs held on the campus of Virginia Tech this weekend.

The duo kicked off the tournament on Friday with an 8-4 win against Taylor Cook and Alexa Quintanilla from Mount St. Mary's at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. In the round of 32, the pair ran into the event's top-seeded team from Virginia Tech, Natalie Novotna and Rita Pinto, and fell 8-5.

Fairfax native La fell in the first round of singles action, 6-1, 6-1, to Kylie Moulin from James Madison. In the consolation bracket, La dropped a tough decision to Jona Roka (JMU). In the first game, Roka won 7-6(7), but La forced a tie-breaker set after a 6-3 win in the second game.
 
La's collegiate career is off to a resounding start, recording an 11-3 singles record from the top singles position for the Patriots this fall. In doubles, action, she and Yang finished with a dominant 10-3 record.
