George Mason Athletics posted its highest single-year Graduation Success Rate (GSR) with a 90 percent, and eight Patriots' teams posted a 100 percent four-year score in the latest data reported by the NCAA on Wednesday.
Two teams, women's rowing and women's swimming recorded a 100 percent GSR for the tenth straight year. Men's tennis posted a perfect score for the sixth straight year. The Patriots' women's basketball, women's lacrosse, softball, women's track and field and women's volleyball each earned a perfect 100.
The national average for the 2009-2012 cohort GSR is 89.
GSR is measured as the proportion of full-time, scholarship student-athletes who graduate from the institution within six years. The latest NCAA Graduation Success Rate report includes student-athletes who began their respective careers between 2009 and 2012.
