FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team is on the road for its final midweek game of the season, facing Towson on Wednesday with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. at Schuerholtz Park in Towson, Md.
Last time out, Mason (18-23, 9-6 A-10) defeated UMass 11-2 on Sunday to take two of three games in their series against the Minutemen.
Senior
Tyler Nelin went 3-for-4 with a single, two doubles and a walk. He drove in three runs and scored three runs. Senior
Trevor Kelly was 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBI. He leads the team with five home runs.
Every player in the starting lineup reached base at least once, while eight players scored at least one run in the game for the Patriots.

Jared DiCesare (3-5) allowed two runs over 7.0 innings to earn the win, while freshman
Austin Cabone and senior
Ryan Ricci each tossed one scoreless inning.
Mason has a team batting average of .262. Sophomore
Logan Driscoll is third in the Atlantic 10 in average (.362) and hits (60). He ranks 11th in the conference in doubles (11) and is 13th in RBI (31).
Nelin is hitting .368 (39-for-106) and is third on the team in hits (39). He has hit safely in 13 of his last 15 games.
Kelly is batting .315 (52-for-165) and leads the team in home runs (5). He ranks seventh in the Atlantic 10 in RBI (31) and is 13th in the conference in hits (52).

Junior left-hander
Brian Marconi tossed three innings of no-hit ball and earned the win in the first meeting between the two teams this season, while junior
Bailey Klein started behind the plate and went 4-for-5 with a RBI and two runs scored.
Eight players collected at least one hit for the Patriots, with five players recording a multi-hit game. Nine different players scored at least one run and seven players drove in at least one run for Mason in the game.
