FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason baseball team returns home for a midweek, non-conference contest against James Madison on Wednesday, with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, Va.
Last time out, Mason (14-16, 6-3 A-10) dropped the final game of its series at Davidson, falling to the Wildcats 9-5 on Sunday at Wilson Field in Davidson, N.C.

The Patriots have won seven of their last eight home games to improve to 11-3 at Spuhler Field.

Logan Driscoll is hitting .393 (46-for-117) and leads the team in hits (46) and RBI (29). Nelin is batting .344 (21-for-61) and is fifth on the team in hits (21). Kelly has a .298 average (36-for-121) and ranks second on the team in hits (36) and RBI (23).

Mason and James Madison split two one-run games last season, with each team winning on the road. The Patriots built a 4-0 lead and held on for a 7-6 victory on April 5, 2017 at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Va. The Dukes scored the first four runs of the game in a 4-3 win over the Patriots on May 9, 2017 at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, Va.

The Dukes dropped their fourth straight game on Tuesday, falling 2-1 to Maryland in 12 innings at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Va.
