FAIRFAX, Va. – Jonathan Schloth has been recognized for his prowess in both the classroom and on the cross country course.

On Friday, the George Mason graduate student was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, which recognizes both academic and athletic achievements.

Schloth, a native of East Rockaway, N.Y., finished ninth at the A-10 Championships on Oct. 27. Finishing in the top 15, he earned A-10 All-Conference honors for the first time in his career.

Schloth is currently enrolled in graduate school for curriculum and instruction. He has been named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll four times.
