Kyle Hart has earned weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Hart was named the A-10 Golfer of the Week on Thursday after he won individual medalist honors for the second time in his career. It marks the third time in his career the Midlothian, Va., native has been named golfer of the week, but first since the 2014-15 season.
The Midlothian, Va., native finished first at the Navy Spring Invitational on Sunday in Annapolis, Md. After shooting 2-over 73 to put him just two strokes of the leader after the first round, he shot an even-par 142 (73-69) to win the 36-hole tournament by a stroke.
On Sunday, the native of Midlothian, Va., shot a two-under 69 and birdied two of his final three holes to finish atop the leaderboard. He helped the Patriots win their first team tournament championship in four years as they finished 19-over, defeating St. John's by six strokes.
Hart and the Patriots begin play at the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship on Friday at the Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando, Fla. The three-day, 54-hole tournament runs through Sunday.
