FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's and women's tennis teams will play a combined five matches at the friendly confines of the Mason Tennis Complex this weekend.
Both programs will host A-10 foe Duquesne University on Friday at 3 p.m.
The men's program will then take on Longwood on Saturday at 2 p.m., while the women battle the Lancers in a Sunday matinee (noon).
The women's team wraps up the busy stretch with a contest against Big East foe Georgetown at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
Both programs are coming off strong efforts over the past 10 days.
The Mason men went 2-1 during the PTR Springfest March 13-17 in Hilton Head, S.C. The week was highlighted by a 5-2 win over IUPUI on March 15. The Patriots then put together a great effort against a strong Davidson team, falling 4-2 in North Carolina on Sunday.

Edward Ayers has been performing well during his first season in a Mason uniform. The San Antonio, Texas, product has won his last five singles matches and has partnered with
Andrew Curtis to create a formidable duo at No. 3 doubles. The pair has captured its past two decisions and is 4-4 in dual action in 2017.
The women went a perfect 4-0 at the PTR Springfest, then fell to Davidson on Sunday before returning home for this weekend's matches.
Mason has featured strong play from senior
Olivia Lacy-Thompson as of late, as the Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., product has won her past four singles matches. Partnering with
Scarlett Walston at doubles, Lacy-Thompson has been a stalwart at the No. 2 spot. The duo has captured four of their past five dual doubles showdowns.
