COLUMBUS, Ohio – George Mason sophomores
Ryan Donnelly,
Attila Kiss and
Christopher Stankiewicz completed competition at the 2017 AT&T Winter Nationals hosted by USA Swimming at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.
Donnelly, a native of Raleigh, N.C., placed 16th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:47.57, posting the second-fastest time in the event in the Atlantic 10 Conference this season. Donnelly qualified for the consolation finals of the event with a time of 1:48.16. He also placed 35th in the 100-yard backstroke (50.78).
Kiss, from Miskolc, Hungary, placed 36h in the 500-yard freestyle (4:37.37) on day one of competition.
Stankiewicz, a native of Fairfax Station, Va., placed 31st in the 100-yard breaststroke with a career-best time of 56.03.
The Patriots are back in action when they host American, Army and Boston University at 12 p.m. on Jan. 20 at the Jim McKay Natatorium in Fairfax, Va.
