MERCER, N.J. - George Mason University rowing's novice boats were unable to compete in Saturday's Frostbite Regatta, as the event was canceled due to frigid conditions.

Mason rowing now takes a competitive break until March 2018 when the Patriots open the spring season at Old Dominion (March 24).
