George Mason University athletics department welcomes new Associate AD for Compliance Kelly Webb, as announced by Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Brad Edwards. Webb joins the Patriots from Towson University, where she spent the past three years handling all compliance services for the Tigers' 19 Division I programs.

“I am excited to become a part of the Patriot family, and I want to thank Brad Edwards and Jackie Campbell for the opportunity to join an already amazing team,” commented Webb. “I look forward to working with George Mason's coaches and student-athletes, and contributing to the continued success of an already storied program.”

In addition to managing all compliance aspects at Towson as Associate AD, Webb was the sport supervisor for women's golf, women's gymnastics and women's tennis. In 2015, she was voted the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Administrator of the Year. Webb also served in leadership roles as part of L.E.a.D. (Leadership Enhancement and Development) Tiger Advisory Board and the Athletics Director Council, while overseeing the department's APR and Sports Sponsorship reports.

Prior to arriving at Towson, Webb served as the Assistant Commissioner at the Northeast Conference, providing all compliance services for the 12 NEC member institutions. Webb's association with the NEC began in 2010 as she served as the Director of Compliance for two years. In her conference role, Webb managed the NEC National Letter of Intent program, administered the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam and educated the NEC membership on proposed NCAA legislation and Presidential Working Group changes.

For two years prior to joining the NEC staff, Webb held the role of Assistant Director of Compliance for the Atlantic 10 Conference. While with the A-10, she was the primary liaison to the A-10 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, assisted in administration of the A-10's Postgraduate Scholarship Program and produced numerous rules education materials.

In 2006, Webb acted as a compliance assistant with the West Coast Conference in California.

A 2004 business administration graduate of the University of California, Riverside, Webb earned her M.B.A. from San Diego State with a specialization in Sports Business Management in 2006.

Webb has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Amateurism Fact-Finding Committee after serving two years on the NACWAA Membership Committee.
