Fairfax, Va. - The final game of George Mason University's softball team's final home series against Saint Louis on Sunday has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

This is the third Patriots game this week that rain has impeded with after Wednesday's away doubleheader at Virginia.

The cancellation means that Saturday's doubleheader, during which Mason hosted its annual Go Gold for Tara event and recognized its seven seniors – Breanna Boyd, Julia Czarnecki, McKenzie Jones, Katie Kitts, Sarah Kleinfelter, Casey Price, and Sarah Solano – featured the Patriots' last two games at George Mason Softball Complex in 2016. Mason went 12-9 in 21 home games this season.
