The George Mason men's tennis team dropped their match today against conference foe Davidson, 4-2.
The Wildcats took the early lead winning at the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles to score the first point of the match. Mason's No. 2 team of Aaron Capitel and Tanner Baine won their match against Davidson's Alex Howard and Evan Watkins.
The Patriots earned their two points from singles competition. James Lange defeated David Hager at No. 3 and Daniel Gutierrez took down Jordan Hart at No. 5, 6-2, 6-2. Mason's Joe Hill won the first set 6-1 of his match agasint Artem Khrapko at No. 2, but dropped the next two sets and the match.
Mason is back on the home court Sunday at 1:00 pm against St. Joseph's.
