FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason women's tennis team fell 0-7 at home today in their last regular season match to Atlantic 10 rival George Washington.
The Colonials won two of the three doubles to open the scoring.
George Washington swept the singles matches to close out the match. The highlight for the Patriots was Morgan Yang who lost a close first set 4-6, battled to win the second 7-5 before losing 11-9 in the tie-breaker.
Brittany Pilkington, playing her last home match, fell 3-6, 4-6 to Teodora Radosavlijvic at the top singles. Esu Erdenebat, also playing her final match at home, lost 2-6, 3-6 to Maria-Loiuse Decamps. Sydney Green started slowly before losing in a second set tie-breaker to Sara Grubac.
The Patriots fall to 9-14 before heading to Cincinnati next week for the A-10 conference tournament.
